Midnight Batik Scrap S Quilted Vest Rework

A one-of-a-kind vest reworked from a discarded vintage quilt — bold black and white swirls, spirals and op-art prints pieced against jewel-toned scraps, the whole thing edged in a punchy golden yellow binding.

Boxy, slightly cropped silhouette with two patch pockets and three front tie closures that let you set the fit. Size S. There is exactly one of these.

These are our standard S figures. Because every vest is cut from a different quilt they can vary by about ±½ inch — the last photo is this vest's own tape-measure shot.

Condition

Reworked by hand from a genuine vintage quilt. Expect gentle fading, the odd soft spot in the batting, and small irregularities in the piecing — that is the source material showing through, not damage.
